PabstBlueRibbonOysterCult One of my favorite bands from the 90s drops an album full of riffs nearly 30 years later, yes please. Butterflies & Suicides feels like it could have been on the original 94 album. Coming back to Sugartooth feels like putting on a old sweater. Its comfortable. Favorite track: Butterflies & Suicides.

Andreas Muhr Sugartooth return with a typical collection of bluesy riffs and clean vocals after almost three decades. What a breathtaking stoner grunge comeback!

Markonomicon What a comeback. Top album! Favorite track: Salton Sea.
The OG Metal Prophet

The OG Metal Prophet I was elated when I saw Sugartooth had re-emerged. The first 2 albums from the 90s kick ass. And this one picks up where the others left off. Just a wee bit of time in between. Check out Volume 3 from one of the more unheralded bands from the 90s. Favorite track: Sing On.

1.
Breathe in your fucking self The rot of all your lies Taste the spit, the dirt, the shit That the rest of us despise I've been what you've become I've been what you've become I've been where you belong, I've been where you belong They poisoned your mind Desperate, unkind Violently clawing at you The voice in your head Said they're better off dead Now you're not the person I knew You won't remember me It's already been so long But you'll fry like a pig in the dead of the sun There'll be nobody left when I'm gone You won't remember me, Like I remember you Give me some fucking space so I can breathe the truth They poisoned your mind Desperate, unkind Violently clawing at you The voice in your head Said they're better off dead Now you're not the person I knew
2.
Buried 02:35
Get out of the city and take along everybody you know Hide them away from the poison that has taken control But I know It's pointless to go We are buried in all that’s wrong Because the memory, when it dies, it's gone I never heard it when it was said That when morning comes we might all be dead You want to run but you've got to know that you've run out of time The razor burns and it's cutting down everything that's alive But I know There’s Nowhere to go We are buried in all that’s wrong Because the memory, when it dies, it's gone I never heard it when it was said That when morning comes we might all be dead
3.
Stay With Me 02:53
A new feeling it's a new day Don't come around anymore The same feeling from the same place It's become such a bore You can't see it but it's growing Like a cancer in the soul And it doesn't seem to be slowing Taking back what you stole Stay with me A damp, drizzly November in my soul A new feeling it's a new day Don't come around anymore An old friend with the new name It's become such a bore It's taking aim at my heart's spite It hasn't come to impress I take cover in the daylight It's become such a mess Stay with me A damp, drizzly November in my soul
4.
Shelter 03:23
Sing me a song Sweet, low and long Like a lullaby If the terror is gone Then you were wrong And so was I Sing me a song cos it's all I've ever known Bring me along as your shelter from the storm Sleep now my angel in white Wake when it's my turn to die Sing me a song cos it's all I've ever known Bring me along as your shelter from the storm Whisper a song Sweet, low and long Like a lullaby If the terror is gone Then you were wrong And so was I Sing me a song cos it's all I've ever known Bring me along as your shelter from the storm
5.
Sing On 03:59
Wake up your sons Have them raise up all their guns And resist the need for inhalation Don't let them in 'Cos your lungs cannot begin To overcome the force of suffocation Sing on | It doesn't matter what the bombs bring Sing on | They'll never weaken what's strong Sing on | It doesn't matter what the bombs bring Resist the call for your death and for it all You're not alone in your isolation Drift off to sleep And Rest your head on this belief That You will overcome this age of damnation Sing on | It doesn't matter what the bombs bring Sing on | They'll never weaken what's strong Sing on | It doesn't matter what the bombs bring
6.
Salton Sea 03:30
It's only you And only me Adrift upon this Salton Sea And the grief It doesn't mean a thing Only you and only I Can ride this storm and surf this tide But the pain It doesn't mean a thing Time it heals all wounds but mine The passing time is so unkind Time it heals all wounds but mine The hourglass is so unkind The desert sun it beats the sand And your ash and bones are upon my hands Now the wind, won't carry you away The candle burning silent-like While mourning dove calls to euthanize But today, it doesn't know my name Time it heals all wounds but mine The passing time is so unkind Time it heals all wounds but mine The hourglass is so unkind
7.
It doesn't seem to bring you harm And it doesn't seem to go my way You can lie to the open wind But your voice betrays your hate Try to run from the blackened sky From the burn of the pain of the heart I would step on your wounded pride And display your dismay like it's art Louder and louder and louder it goes But nobody hears what's said You can laugh and deceive yourself But you'll answer to me when you're dead Try to run from the blackened sky From the burn of the pain of the heart I would step on your wounded pride And display your dismay like it's art It doesn't seem to bring you harm And it doesn't seem to go my way You can lie to the open wind But your voice betrays your hate I can feel it numbing after waiting all these years
8.
I've got me an angel my favorite of things But she keeps me humble So I step on her wings Butterflies and suicides Will lay them all to rest A tourniquet of shit and spit Will stop this bloody mess Swallowed pride, a broken bride Who sheds her frail skin A lie for lie A tooth for eye These scars are paper thin Wake me from this fucking dream, now I've got me an angel my favorite of things But she keeps me humble So I step on her wings
9.
Friend 02:59
Got a friend who chases everyone away Bites the hand that feeds him every night and day Found a place where I can keep him underground Got a friend and no one ever comes around Broke my hand just making sure that he was fed Found a hole where i can place him when he's dead He never hears me or anything I say Got a friend who chases all the rest away
10.
Wonder 03:17
So you've been thinking of somebody new? I'll sleep 'til it's over and wake when it's through There's no mistaking, that's all I do I run in circles, it keeps me amused Now I wonder who found you Lately been drifting on some sick wave It lights up the circus and rains on parades There's no mistaking, I see right through I run in circles, it's all I do And I wonder who found you
11.
Reign in these tears Tear down these walls There will never be someone To make it all become undone But we all hear the silent yell If I win this war There won't be more And you'll never hear that sound again They won't take you farther You're on your own there will never be someone To make you feel like you have won We all hear the silent yell And you'll never hear that sound againPatience withered in the end
12.
Simpler days, are what I remember But simple can no longer be Freeze in the night, like a cold December Sleep in the day, just to dream The sun's gone, ending life w/ hidden laughter Gone, gone, darkness growing, killing faster This ends now Let sleep fill your eyes with golden slumbers And smiles that await you when you rise Search pretty darling, for those golden wonders Because the future they gave you was a lie The sun's gone, taking life with hidden laughter Gone, gone, anger fueling this disaster This ends now
